This one day seminar is designed to provide an overview of the international life market as applicable to companies operating out of Ireland. The course will be delivered by Brendan McCarthy: you can read his bio under the Speaker section on our registration website.
The seminar will focus on the following key areas:
• Introduction, background and a brief history of the cross-border sectors
• The cross-border industry in Ireland
• Analysis of competitor jurisdictions
• Target markets and customer needs
• Applicable legislation and regulation (including Brexit)
• Product offerings, main types and features
• Associated sectors, Reinsurance, Non-Life (General) Insurance.

Who should attend
The seminar is aimed at employees, working in most roles either within a cross border life company, a service provider to such companies or an industry representative body, as well as INEDs who wish to broaden their understanding of the business sector in which they work/operate.
Delivery
Training is delivered to small classes. The maximum class size for our courses is 20.
Cost
The cost per participant is €350 ex vat for members and €580 for non-members.
A light lunch onsite will be included.

Event cancellation
Note, we reserve the right to cancel the seminar in the event that we do not have a required minimum number of attendees. In that event, a full refund will be made to all those of have registered.
