As part of our Strategic Alliance Partnership, Insurance Ireland and KPMG are delighted to invite you to our first CFO Networking Dinner on Wednesday, 22nd November. Gary Reader, Global Head of Sales and Markets, KPMG will give an address cover the theme “21st Century Insurance Enterprise”.

The insurance industry in the 21st century faces significant challenges as technological advances and changes in business processes transform the insurance landscape. Gary will cover topics such as Telematics, InsurTech, Innovation and how important it is to take advantage of these current technologies which in turn can yield quantifiable return on investment and the ability to grow and adapt your business.

Gary has been with KPMG for over 32 years. For 28 years he has focussed on the insurance sector – as an audit partner from 1996-2000, consulting partner from 2000-2011 and most recently as a markets partner.  In that time he has worked in all three regions of KPMG and his roles and work has taken him to multiple countries.  For the last four years he has been KPMG`s global insurance sector lead. 

As the former Global Advisory leader for the insurance sector and a member of the European and Global Insurance leadership teams, he was responsible for supporting all efforts to maximize presence in the European and Global insurance marketplace, identifying and closing advisory opportunities.
