·        Some useful tips for the investigation team and investigator to take when starting the investigation, and throughout.

·        What are the steps to take upon receiving a whistleblower complaint why are these initial steps important ?

·        Exploration of the different types of investigation that may be undertaken and the factors that may impact this decision.
   This is of particular relevance currently in light of the recent Guerin v Shatter [2019] IESC 9 decision.

·        Consideration of the content of the terms of reference for an investigation.

·        An overview of the importance and content of whistleblowing policies and procedures, as the starting point to any investigation
   will be to the policy and procedures in place.
