Overview
Insurance Ireland and Milliman look forward to welcoming you to our second CRO Forum of 2025. This in-person event will focus on the Insurance Recovery and Resolution Directive (IRRD) and Recovery Plans. Guest speakers from William Fry will provide an overview of the IRRD requirements and their implications for Irish insurers. We’ll also deliver an update on the latest Recovery Plans activity in the Irish market, followed by an interactive session.

Ian Murray, Partner, William Fry
Ian brings extensive experience in corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance, and more. Formerly Director of Corporate and Regulatory Affairs at SCOR Global Life Ireland, he has a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape affecting (re)insurers and associated entities in Ireland.
Caitlin Lenihan, Associate, William Fry
Caitlin specializes in corporate and regulatory work for (re)insurers, captives, and insurance intermediaries. Her expertise covers group reorganisations, cross-border mergers, and a range of insurance regulatory matters, providing valuable insights into the evolving regulatory environment.
Mike Claffey, Principal, Milliman
With 20 years of experience at Milliman, Mike serves as a Principal and often acts as Independent Actuary and Skilled Person for the Central Bank of Ireland. His expertise in risk management and portfolio transfers makes him an invaluable resource for navigating Recovery Plans.
Sinéad Clarke, Principal, Milliman
As the leader of Milliman’s Risk and Capital Management team in Dublin, Sinéad is an expert in Solvency II and risk management practices. With over 15 years of industry experience, she provides strategic guidance on capital and risk management for a diverse range of insurers.
