The Women in Finance Awards initiative, presented by DiversityQ, provides a global platform to showcase success, innovation, and creativity in finance, as well as shine a light on those promoting the importance of a more inclusive sector.

WIF will celebrate advocates, role models and allies across the Ireland’s finance industry, recognising the efforts of individuals, employer initiatives and industry champions. This year, there are 21 categories including CFO, DEI Initiative, Wealth Manager, Sustainability Project Leader and Woman of the Year.

By continuing to identify new industry role models, WIF can inspire students and graduates, build a united community of change makers, and motivate professionals to continue their work in across the finance landscape.

We would like to congratulate each of the women shortlisted for an award. The 21 categories recognise the outstanding achievements by women in the financial services. Year on year the awards reassess, adapt and innovate, introducing new categories to remain inclusive and considerate of market developments, roles and responsibilities.

We were delighted to see Insurance Ireland member companies represented on the shortlist for the Women In Finance Awards Ireland. Diversity and Inclusion is an important pillar in the Insurance Ireland and Insurance Industry agenda and although we still have some way to go, it is encouraging to see many organisations including Diversity & Inclusion as part of their overall business strategy.

Insurance Ireland would like to wish each of those shortlisted the very best of luck in the final.

The winners will be announced in an online ceremony on 8 December, 2021!
