Insurance Ireland hosted it’s third workshop examining policy issues involved in constructing a Universal Pension for Ireland. This stakeholder workshop, attended by industry, state agencies and government departments, explored the design features and international best practice for investment solutions. Keynote speaker, Mr. Larry Zimpleman, Chairman of the Board of The Principal Financial Group an American company with over 20 million customers gave specific insights into the American experience, and attendees also discussed best practice in the UK, Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
 
The fourth workshop on retirement income will take place in January of 2016.
