ROLE PURPOSE

Insurance Ireland (II) is looking to recruit two executives to support II’s senior team in delivering II’s advocacy mandate on behalf of its members across a wide variety of policy & regulatory agendas. The roles provide an excellent opportunity to gain a broad range of experience within a multidiscipline organization representing the Irish Insurance sector. These functions include:

•Supporting the progression & completion of policy & regulatory work mandated by II’s Councils across Health, Life & International Insurance 

•Supporting II’s Operation’s mandate, which includes general administration, IT projects & Statistics

•Supporting the delivery of II’s events as and when required

•Support II’s communications plan

As the voice of insurance actively promoting the highest standards, Insurance Ireland represents 95% of the domestic market and 80% of Ireland’s international life insurance market. 

 

ROLE ELEMENTS

INSURANCE EXECUTIVE

•Developing and maintaining effective relationship with member companies and external stakeholders

•Supporting the delivery of all II Operations function including IT projects, statistics & vendor management 

•Supporting Health, Life & International Working Groups

•Supporting II’s communication plan by providing information and advice to II’s  stakeholders on insurance and related issues

•An ability to multi-task and strong interpersonal skills

•Knowledge of finance with budget handling capabilities

•Strong IT (ability to use MS office applications, database skills) and Administration skills

•Team player with an ability to work independently

•Enthusiasm, motivation and a positive committed attitude.

HOURS

Standard office hours. However, you may be required to work longer hours as required. 

 

REQUIREMENTS

2 – 3 years’ experience
