Insurance Ireland are looking to hire a Financial Controller to join their team in Dublin.
ROLE PURPOSE
Insurance Ireland is looking to recruit a Financial Controller to support the delivery of Insurance Ireland’s growing operations involving end to end finance functions.

ROLE ELEMENTS
FINANCIAL CONTROLLER
•Supporting the delivery of all finance functions
•Management of monthly and quarterly reporting inclusive of management accounts, cash flow analysis, forecasting, variance analysis and commentaries
•Co-ordinate internal and external audits and preparation of annual statutory accounts
•Responsible for managing reporting pack for board and budgeting/planning processes
•Preparing and executing monthly payroll and preparation of tax returns etc.
•Maintenance of financial ledgers and accounting processes like sales/purchase ledger postings, bank and balance sheet reconciliations etc.
•Analyse and report on key business initiatives
•Lead development and improvements of existing accounting systems
•Reviewing and improving internal control and accounting principles and ensuring that appropriate systems and internal control are implemented and maintained
•Systems integration with our accounting system and operations
SKILLS & QUALITIES
•Qualified Accountant (ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA)
•Excellent organizational, communication and numeracy skills
•Excellent relationship management and stakeholder management skills
•An ability to multi-task and strong interpersonal skills
•A creative and innovative approach to problem-solving
•The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
•Strong IT and Administration skills
•Team player with an ability to work independently

HOURS
Standard office hours. However, you may be required to work longer hours as required.
