At The AGM of Insurance Ireland this morning, Ciaran McGettrick has been appointed President of Insurance Ireland (II) for a one-year term. He succeeds Sean Casey of New Ireland, who has completed his term.

“I am honoured to be appointed President of II and look forward to working closely with Ireland’s Insurance companies across Life, General, Health and International. Helping to progressing with the support of the team in Insurance House II’s mandate on behalf of its members” Ciaran said. 

“Our sector makes a major contribution both economically and socially to our countries wellbeing, a contribution I will work tirelessly to promote and expand during my Presidency”, he added.
