Insurance Ireland – INED Conference ‘How INEDs Influence the Culture and Values of the Board & the Organisation’

We are pleased to announce that we are hosting the Insurance Industry’s INED Conference 2015 with the Central Bank of Ireland in attendance on the 14th of May. The event will be held at the Radisson Hotel, Golden Lane, Dublin 8 and will run from 4.00pm to 6.30pm, followed by a drinks reception and networking supper. 

 

Thereafter the afternoon will mainly address issues of strategic importance to our INED community such as international best practice corporate governance and the cultural influence and impact of the board. We will also have a panel discussion with representation from our corporate and INED communities and the Central Bank.

  John Harty is Ireland’s leading Executive Search Consultant in the area of Non-Executive Director Appointments. John’s Sectorial expertise lies mainly in financial services and he works with many of Ireland’s leading financial services entities regarding both board-room appointments at executive director and non-executive director level.

John spends his time between Dublin and London. His company, Harty International, is part of the Board Partners organisation which has a global footprint and one which focuses solely on board room appointments. 

John has commissioned research into the area of “Gender Diversity on Boards” and has also commissioned research into “The Future of Financial Services Boards” resulting in two whitepapers being published: “Effective Alignment of Non-Executive Directors”; and “The role of the Chairman”.
