Insurance Ireland has the pleasure of inviting you to our upcoming webinar. The webinar is taking place on MS Teams on Wednesday, 5 February at 12 noon.
With this event, we would like to focus on the challenges and opportunities of the proposed framework for access to financial data (FIDA) from the perspective of insurers. We will discuss the most important aspects of the proposal as well as the practical side of Open Finance.

Andres Lehtmets, Founder, InsurTech4good.com
Andres is the founder of InsurTech4Good.com, a consultancy providing Regulatory Strategy & Advice, Thought Leadership, Research on Innovation and Technology, and Policy Advisory to insurers, InsurTechs and regulators worldwide. Prior to this, Andres worked at the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA) as rapporteur for the InsurTech Task Force, leading EIOPA’s work on digitalization. His focus areas included Open Insurance, Artificial Intelligence, new business models, platform economy and online disclosures. He has also served as a member of the FinTech Forum and co-led the Open Insurance working group at the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS). Before his work at EIOPA, Andres spent several years in the Insurance Policy Department at the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Estonia, where he developed insurance and pension fund policies, focusing on data protection and financial innovation.
Arthur Hilliard, Senior Policy Advisor, Insurance Europe
Arthur Hilliard is a Senior Policy Advisor in the conduct of business department of Insurance Europe, the European insurance and reinsurance federation. In this capacity, he is responsible for leading the work on digital policy and covers a wide range of topics, including artificial intelligence, cloud computing and digital finance. He is also responsible for promoting the various initiatives undertaken by the European insurance industry to raise financial education and literacy levels among consumers. Arthur has previously worked for the European Commission and the European Consumer Centre Network, promoting the benefits of the single market for European citizens.
Deborah Porret, Senior Manager Public Affairs, Zurich Insurance
Deborah Porret is a Senior Manager Public Affairs at Zurich Insurance, where she looks after a range of EU digital policies, including the Framework for Financial Data Access, the cyber protection gap, deployment of AI, updated liability regime.Deborah is a Public Affairs professional with fifteen-year track-record in the insurance and pharmaceutical sectors.
