9.25am Claims Case Study Presentation 1 – Dean Dowling Claims Manager, Liberty Insurance 

Overview: SIU claimant defeated in the Dublin Circuit court. Claim having all the standard SIU hallmarks. Investigations uncovering, minimal impact, statement inconsistencies, non-disclosure with social media searches showing claimant engaging in activities that would question the extent of injuries being claimed for.

 Overview: The case study is a liability claim which involves a motor vehicle which allegedly sustained damage due to a burst water main and ultimately resulted in the conviction of the claimant under the Theft and Fraud Offences Act.
