Overview
On our first CFO Forum of 2022, PwC’s Financial Regulatory Partner Sinead Ovenden will be joined by Lorcan Byrne, Head of Function of the Supervisiory Risk Division, Central Bank of Ireland and Julie Kennedy, a Director in PwC’s Financial Services Risk and Regulation team to share their perspectives on the CBI’s finalised Cross Industry Guidance on Outsourcing and reflect on their experience of developing and implementing robust Outsourcing Frameworks. We will discuss how and why regulated financial service providers should prepare themselves for the implementation of the guidelines and what steps they should consider when building an Outsourcing programme.
Following a welcome address from Brian Davis, Director of Corporate Services and Programmes, Insurance Ireland, the session will cover the following:
· Finalised CBI Cross Industry Guidelines on Outsourcing and the CBI’s CP138 Feedback statement; and
· Insights on good outsourcing risk management and governance practices.
