In June of this year, Insurance Ireland announced Deloitte as its Market Intelligence Strategic Alliance Partner (SAP) for the period 2015 to 2017. As Insurance Ireland’s Market Intelligence SAP, Deloitte has worked closely with the Insurance Ireland team on the design and development of an industry Market Intelligence Portal that will enable us to distribute valuable data and insights to our members on a monthly (Life) / quarterly (Non-Life and International) basis and without any charge to our members. There is no comparative offering in the market, and this industry intel solution has been the subject of interest from other industry clients of Deloitte’s in light of its innovative nature.
Through the application of Deloitte’s analytics tools the Portal will enhance the level of data that is currently being captured by Insurance Ireland on behalf of the industry and turn the collated information into useful and actionable insights.
On a quarterly basis, the II-Deloitte partnership will also provide commentary on the results and will give insight and perspective on industry trends and developments.
This new data-driven approach we have jointly developed through the creation of the Portal, has the potential to reshape how the industry conducts business and will play a key part in Insurance companies strategies across all sectors and sub-sectors.
The Portal will go live this month and will be formally launched on the 3rd of November at which time we will circulate a further communique detailing the Portal’s unique capabilities and functionality.
