As part of the INED Council’s ongoing work to support the industry’s INED community, we have partnered with EisnerAmper Ireland to support us in delivery of Insurance Ireland’s INED Forum, a series of 4 bespoke forums to be held in 2021.
The forums will focus on the issues facing INEDs during and after the Covid-19 pandemic as well as the expectations of INEDs in their role in an ever-changing environment.
Our upcoming INED Forum will focus on ‘Business Culture and the impact of the Leadership Shadow’. Our first guest speaker is Paul Harwood, CFO, Holloway Friendly Society in the UK. Paul has developed and implemented a culture assessment model in his own firm, and he will give an overview of the culture model development, impact and results he has witnessed. Our second guest speaker is Claire Lanigan, Chief Risk Officer, Wells Fargo. Claire will be sharing her experience of working with the Dutch Central Bank in the area of Culture and her successful management of the Behaviour and Culture Review of the Irish Retail Banks in 2018 on behalf of the CBI.
