The next event as part of our Year of Inclusion initiative will be held on the 30th of May from 7.30am-9.00am.
The event is targeted at Human Resources, Communications and Diversity staff in insurance and will feature a presentation from Sandra Healy, the Head of Diversity and Inclusion at Dublin City University on HR policies and creating staff initiatives in inclusion. This presentation will also consider the use of language in HR policies and practical advice in this area.
Sandra has a wealth of experience in advising companies on best practices in inclusion and is involved in organisations including the Gay and Lesbian Equality Network and the 30% Club. Sandra is also a founding member of the EU Diversity Charter Ireland.
A panel discussion will follow comprising HR Directors who will discuss how to create self-sustaining staff initiatives based on their own experience.
The presentation and discussion will be relevant to all staff interested in inclusion best practices. It will also be of assistance to companies either exploring this area for the first time or those looking to take the next steps. If you are not able to attend, you are welcome to nominate a representative.
