Speaking of the publication of this report, Insurance Ireland’s CEO Kevin Thompson said ‘2014 was an excellent year for Insurance Ireland by any standard. We increased our activity across all areas and continued to make strong progress on behalf of our members in areas such as advocacy, regulation, pensions reform, flood risk management, Ireland’s position as a location for international insurers, and the ongoing fight against fraud. The report provides a good snapshot of the depth & breadth of work we undertake as the voice of the insurance industry showcasing  our domestic and international representation on the industry’s behalf. We will build on our efforts of 2014 and previous years in 2015 and onwards through continued engagement with our growing membership as we seek to improve even further our engagement with our stakeholders on their behalf.
