08:40 – 09:00 am |
Review of regulatory activity during 2018 The CBI has conducted a number of thematic reviews and targeted risk assessments during 2018. We will provide an overview of the various reviews and assessments that have taken place during the year and look at some of the key messages emerging. It is intended that this session will be interactive, with plenty of opportunities for questions and debate.Padraic O’Malley and Eamonn Phelan, Milliman |
09:00 – 09:40 am |
Round table discussion Breaking into peer groups, we will discuss the topical risk issues for each sector. Topics to be covered will include the CBI’s targeted risk assessment approach, regulatory developments more generally, interaction of the Risk Function and the Actuarial Function, data & predictive analytics, Brexit and emerging risks. This represents an opportunity to discuss whatever risk issues are most important for your sector with your peers. |
09:40 – 10.00 am | Networking |
In line with our usual format, we intend to dedicate some time to discuss topics that any CRO may wish to raise and discuss with their peers. CROs may do so within their peer groups as part of the round table discussion, or may address all of the attendees present on the day. We would also welcome any topics or questions of interest to CROs in advance of the meeting. Please email any suggestions to: una.coleman@insuranceireland.eu
