Vivian Spies, Foreign Registered Lawyer, Arthur Cox

Vivian is a foreign registered lawyer in Arthur Cox’s Technology and Innovation Group.
Vivian specialises in digital regulation and technology contracting with broad experience across multiple sectors. Vivian’s areas of expertise include privacy law, Artificial Intelligence, content moderation, intellectual property and cybersecurity.
Aoife Mac Ardle, Of Counsel, Arthur Cox

Aoife is Of Counsel in Arthur Cox’s Technology and Innovation Group and advises on data protection and privacy, information technology and digital services and outsourcing. She has significant experience advising clients on digital regulation and enforcement by regulatory bodies.
Aoife advises on data privacy issues and commercial contracts for a range of domestic and international clients, including international technology companies, financial institutions and multinational corporates. Her data privacy work includes advising on all aspects of GDPR compliance and regulatory investigations. She has represented clients in their dealings with the Data Protection Commission, ranging from amicable resolution stage to formal domestic and cross border investigations. Aoife’s commercial contract work involves advising on agreements with a technology element, including high value outsourcing projects for financial institutions and other regulated firms. Aoife also advises on intellectual property and freedom of information matters.
Aoife Coll, Senior Associate, Arthur Cox

Aoife Coll is a senior associate in Arthur Cox’s Technology and Innovation Group and has extensive technology law experience including in data protection and privacy, artificial intelligence, information technology and e-business matters.
Aoife trained with Arthur Cox in Dublin and also spent time in their London office. Aoife advises corporates, technology companies and the public sector on a wide range of data protection matters including data subject rights requests, international transfers of personal data, governance arrangements and high-risk processing activities. Aoife has a particular focus on regulatory engagement and has advised numerous large tech, banking and public bodies on large-scale and cross-border regulatory inquiries from the initial stages of an investigation, through to draft decisions and final outcomes. Aoife has in-depth market and practical experience from working on secondment with large tech and private equity clients.
